It’s been a pretty dry year when it comes to UNT players on the watch list for the major awards in college football. UNT just doesn’t have many headline players this year and only two on the Preseason All-Sun Belt team in Cyril Lemon and Will Atterberry.
Atterberry was named to the Ray Guy watch list for the nation’s top punter.

UNT does not have a player on the list this year. There were 312 players named overall, including seveal from the Sun Belt.
UNT is headed in the right direction under Dan McCarney. You just have to hope that UNT will be in position to have a few of its seniors named to the list in the next few years.
