This normally wouldn’t merit mention, but since we are in the dead of summer:
Skyline linebacker Marquaveon Jones was sitting on the board with only a UNT offer up until the last day or so. New Mexico State, one of UNT’s old rivals from the Sun Belt, has now also offered.
S/O @Marquaveon10x 4 being offered by the New Mexico State Aggies! Keep grinding!

UNT played a ton of great games with NMSU if one looks back at it.
There was the “Miracle in the Desert” back in 2001, when Scott Hall (you know, the guy no one seems to want to admit was a great quarterback in UNT history) hit George Marshall for a last-second TD back after the Aggies fumbled late.
A few years later, in 2003, Nick Bazaldua kicked a game-winning 25-yard field goal as time expired to give UNT a 13-10 win, extending what was then the nation’s longest conference winning streak at the time to 18 games and giving UNT a second straight perfect conference season.
