UNT will be back to work in the next day or so in preparation for the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
It will get down to crunch time here in the next couple of days.
This has been brought up before, but it’s worth mentioning again that the extra time UNT has had to practice will be huge for the program’s future.
UNT has been working with its top players and then dismissing them, leaving the coaching staff to work with its young players. Practice time is invaluable when it comes to developing guys.
What makes the last few weeks even more valuable for UNT is that the coaching staff can spend time specifically with its young guys after working through the game plan with its older players.
And while we are at it, don’t forget to pick up the paper Sunday when our bowl section — this year’s will be our largest ever — comes out. I have been buried up to my neck in it the last week, which is why I haven’t put a lot up on the blog of late.
