As expected.

I always had a feeling that Northwestern was where he would end up.

Washington is a smart guy and the draw of playing in the Big Ten while going to school at an elite academic institution was just too much for UNT to overcome.

That is what Washington indicated today:

It is a good sign for UNT that it was in the race until the end. UNT hasn’t been in many battles with schools like Northwestern for recruits over the years.

That also opens up the possibility that UNT will have space for another recruit in its 2014 class.
