Thursday practice wrap-up thoughts

That was a pretty crazy end to practice.

UNT’s coaches hustled the players off the field, at which point I looked around and thought. “Hey, I’m the only guy left out here on metal bleachers in the middle of a storm.”

Not the best idea I’ve ever had.

A storm that nearly spawned a tornado (at least according to the weather reports) blew through right after that.

As far as practice goes, to my untrained eye, Josh Greer had the best day among UNT’s quarterbacks.

My gut feeling is that Greer and Andrew McNulty have pulled a little ahead of Dajon Williams.

We still have a long way to go, though.

I mentioned this during the live blog, but it appears to me as if sophomore defensive end Malik Dilonga is coming on.

Saturday will be a pretty interesting as far as the scrimmage goes. I expect Greer and McNulty to get a long look.
