Tuesday morning recruiting tidbits

UNT’s summer camps tour hits Mesquite today. UNT posted a pretty cool photo of the players who turned out for the event.

The photo looks a little like the video I shot of Dan McCarney speaking at the first stop on the tour. Nike is getting some free advertising.

Any way, there are dozens of players showing up to work with UNT’s staff. Make no mistake. It’s going to pay off.

And in a side note, Motekiai Maile, a Tyler JC defensive tackle, we talked to for our on-going UNT recruiting target series committed to Oklahoma State today. It just shows that UNT is doing a pretty good job of evaluating players. UNT was one of the first schools in to see Maile.

I will have a new recruiting series blog up in the next day or so. Here are the links to the series, including the story we wrote on Maile.
