– UNT soccer coach John Hedlund received a big raise and an extension, a well-deserved raise, if you ask me. The guy is 19 for 19 when it comes to posting winning seasons and has gone to three NCAA tournaments. He will make $70,000 next year, his 20th season at the school.
– All of UNT’s returning assistant coaches received new contracts after last year.
– The total compensation pool for UNT assistants jumped about 11 percent.
– The total pool for assistant coaches is about $1.32 million.
