Dez Willingham hit a layup at the buzzer to put UNT up 53-21 at halftime. The 53 points the Mean Green scored in the first half is its high for first half this season. That total represents a dramatic change from UNT's last game when it scored 20 points in the first half of its Sun Belt Conference opener against Denver.
