Mean Green

I happened to swing by Fouts Field today to attend to some business and happened upon one of UNT's voluntary offseason workouts. This was strictly a player-run practice, but all the usual suspects were there -- Giovanni Vizza, Riley Dodge and Daniel Meager, to name a few. There were also a host of receivers and defensive backs and several linemen.

I was only there for a few minutes, but there were a few tidbits worth mentioning.

Defensive lineman Draylen Ross looks huge.

Dodge looks like he is well on his way back to full strength after offseason shoulder surgery.

Vizza looks crisp as usual and appeared to be in charge of the proceedings.

UNT appears as if it will have a more athletic and polished receiving corps this season. The whole crew appeared to be on hand.
