| Dodge not suprised Padron landed at SMU »
I have been chasing the rumors that Justin Padron is walking on at SMU the last couple of days and finally got confirmation from SMU beat writer Bobbi Roquemore. Bobbi got SMU assistant head coach/defense Tim Hundley to go on the record and confirm that Padron has indeed joined the Mustangs. UNT head coach Todd Dodge said earlier this fall that Padron had given up football due to complications from diabetes. Padron might have done just that and later changed his mind, but Hundley indicated the former Southlake Carroll standout was looking for a new place to play. "He was interested in playing at a different spot," Hundley said. "He contacted us, got his release obviously, and so he's going to go to work and try to earn a scholarship." |

It sounds very shady on the part of Justin Pardon, especially with his little brother committing to SMU earlier this summer. It makes one wonder about his character . . . I hope that it is not the case.

That kid is a special player....he might have decided to leave to join his brother or just to get the heck out of denton...either way I can't blame him..especially seeing what is going on in Denton
