Not much went on during what amounted to a run-through this morning at Fouts Field, but I did talk with UNT head coach Todd Dodge for a minute about his situation in terms of a backup quarterback. Dodge said he has yet to make a decision, but either Daniel Meager or Nathan Tune will enter the season No. 2 on the depth chart. Riley Dodge will be among a few freshmen UNT will take into the season as a member of the travel squad. Riley could end up playing depending on how the season plays out. I stand by my guess that he won't see the field this season. There were also a couple more jersey number changes. Defensive back Royce Hill is wearing No. 21 while running back Lance Dunbar is wearing No. 5. |
