After a long flight from Texas, I am here in Miami for UNT's game against FIU. UNT has won three straight and will look to match its longest streak of the season with a win over the Golden Panthers, who have won two in a row. Eric Tramiel has been on a roll lately for UNT and should play a key role in tonight's game. FIU has a big front line. The Mean Green will need Tramiel to hold his own defensively and force Cedric Essola and Nikola Gacesa to work on the other end of the floor. Both are 6-9. FIU is really a weird Division I venue, by the way. It is really small. and has the old school pull-out high school seating on two sides. E-mail entry: |
